Why I Write About Women’s Health

I’m Tierra Duncan, an author, educator, and advocate. My interest in women’s health grew from realizing how difficult it can be to find clear answers to seemingly simple questions. The more I learned, the more I saw a need for conversations that leave room for both science and nuance.

That’s what led me to writing. I enjoy taking complex topics and making them more accessible, giving women the context they need to ask better questions and make informed decisions for themselves.

I’ve spent over a decade in the fitness and health industry, coaching people of all backgrounds. That foundation influences how I approach everything from hormones and weight to exercise, nutrition, and long-term well-being.

Today, I bring that perspective to my books, speaking, and educational resources, combining research with real-world context and practical takeaways.

Outside of writing, I’m a wife, a mom to a spirited toddler, and someone who loves a good cup of coffee in the morning. Balancing ambition with everyday life keeps me grounded and connected to the people I write for.
