Why I Write About Women’s Health
I’m Tierra Duncan—author, educator, and advocate. My journey with birth control opened my eyes to just how many gaps exist in women’s health education. No matter how many questions I asked or how much I researched, I couldn’t find the clarity I needed.
I soon realized I wasn’t alone. Countless women were facing the same symptoms, frustrations, and silence around their health. That silence is what drove me to start writing.
Today, my work is about changing the conversation—challenging outdated narratives, uncovering the science we were never taught, and offering practical tools anyone can use. My goal is simple: to help women make informed, confident decisions about their bodies.
I’ve spent over a decade in the fitness and health industry, coaching people of all backgrounds to build strength inside and out. That experience taught me that true health isn’t about quick fixes—it’s about understanding and supporting your body from within.
Now, I bring that same perspective to my books, speaking, and resources—combining lived experience with research-backed education.
Beyond my work, I’m a wife, a mom to a spirited toddler, and someone who loves a good cup of coffee in the morning. I know what it’s like to balance ambition with real life, and that keeps me grounded in the work I share with women every day.
If you’re here, it means you care about your health and want answers that go deeper than surface-level advice. You’re in the right place.
